In January 2009, Centro Italiano di Cultura was awarded by Mayor of Bielsko- Biała a honorary diploma Ikar 2008; for the decade of cultural promotion.

                                                                             

Centro Italiano di Cultura is an institution whose activities are focused on propagating Italian language and culture.
That is why all cultural events organized by CIT are free of charge so that everyone interested in Italian culture could participate. People willing to learn Italian have an opportunity to attend language courses which are offered at many levels in order to meet the requirements of each individual customer.

The number of Italian companies present on the Silesian market is continuously growing. There is greater and greater demand for qualified employees who should be able to speak not the language of literature but the specific language used in a particular domain. To meet the demand of the work market Centro Italiano runs courses for specific purposes in which students get essential communicational competence.

The idea behind the foundation of Centro Italiano di Cultura is closely connected with translation services not only regarding Italian but also other languages such as English, German, French, Spanish or Russian. We use skills and experience of translators and interpreters who are knowledgeable in many jargons of different fields.

The head of Centro Italiano di Cultura is Mr Riccardo Salmeri Ph.D. who between the years 1978-1998 was a lecturer of Italian literature and language at the universities in Warsaw and Katowice.
