CONCERT OF GIUSEPPE MILICI QUARTET "AMARSI UN PO'"

 

 

         On the 18th of June 2016 the concert of the Giuseppe Milici Quartet " Amarsi un po' " was held at the concert hall in the Stanisław Moniuszko State General Primary and Secondary Music School in Bielsko-Biała. The concert was organized by the Italian Cultural Centre under the patronage of the the Italian Cultural Institute in Cracow.

      Giuseppe Milici is a musician and composer from Palermo and he plays harmonica. In 1990 he became a member of the first European Jazz Orchestra. He made soundtracks for many movies (one of the most famous is "Il Mago" with Anthony Quinn) and television programs. He also composed the soundtracks to the movies "Ninnarò" and "TerraMadre", the latter was presented at the Berlin Film Festival in 2008. Along with Roberto Gervasi (accordion), Igor Ciotta (bass) and Fabrizio Francoforte (drums), plays in the Quartet called Giuseppe Milici Quartet in a tour throughout Europe.
